Today's News ...     forum is back!                                      

                         I'd like to share some great news with our fans. We have got some great progress from our mapping department that I want to share here today and it's about time I got down to doing just that. We've got plenty of screens of some familiar maps if you played XWW2 in the past. Have a look below to see what's coming to our fans in the future from XWW2. Today we'll focus on phase one of our mapping dept's work. In that what you see below is just a sample of maps to come. Phase two will certainly bring more. But first, an announcement...Team XWW2 would like to formally announce and welcome the arrival of "Chad 509" as our lead animator. Chad brings to us his experience of animations and overall artistic work in the animating dept. Drop in on our forum and check out his animation videos of his many work's in progress as he gets them done and posts them over time.

 I'd like to take a moment here to personally thank Clan Leader, "Mietek" for all his continued support of and for XWW2 and to the members of the 3dID clan for all their support over the years in relentlessly beta testing our work for us. In that, they continue to do a great job locating those pesky little bugs and report them to our senior technical division lead "mschoeldgen" and senior mapping lead "Tuut" who continue to work to bring you all the XWW2 you can handle. Also, thanks to all of our mappers and devs alike who continue through their devotion to bring you, our fans the best XWW2 we can deliver!

If there's any clans that would like to apply to beta test for XWW2 and create future matches, our forum is a good place to start!  If you're talented and would like to contribute to either XWW2 North Africa or XWW2 Pacific and our mod description fits your interests let us know. Talented people like skinners, coders and even someone who could help with "organic" models would be a welcome addition to our team. So drop on by our forum and say hello!
